Zyras rudis is a species of rove beetle in the family Staphylinidae.[2][3][4][5][6][7] It is endemic to the United States[2][6][7] with records from Washington, D.C. (its type locality)[1][7] and Arizona.[3]
Adults measure 5–5.5 mm (0.20–0.22 in) in length.[1]
