Adrian Room

Adrian Richard West Room (27 de septiembre de 1933, Melksham – 6 de noviembre de 2010, Stamford, Lincolnshire) fue un escritor británico experto en toponimia y onomástica, socio de la Royal Geographical Society.[1][2][3][4][5]
Entre 1952 y 1979, Room sirvió en la Reserva Naval Real, Rama Especial, retirándose con el rango de lieutenant commander.[2] Antes de convertirse en autor de manera exclusiva, fue senior house master y profesor de lenguas modernas en el King's College School de Cambridge. Más adelante, y hasta 1984, trabajo como lector sénior de ruso para el Ministerio de Defensa británico.[6]
