Anthaxia mehli es una especie de escarabajo de la familia Buprestidae descrita por Svatopluk Bílý en 1990.[1]
La especie fue propuesta en el trabajo de Bílý «Taxonomical notes on Anthaxiini (Coleoptera, Buprestidae) from the Oriental region, with the descriptions of new taxa», publicado en Annotationes Zoologicae et Botanicae (n.º 198, pp. 1–23, 1990).[1]
