Bottle Shock es una película estadounidense de 2008, una comedia dramática basada en la competencia de vino, cuando el vino de California derrotó al vino francés en una prueba a ciegas. Protagonizada por Alan Rickman, Chris Pine y Bill Pullman y dirigida por Randall Miller, quien escribió el guion junto con Jody Savin y Ross Schwartz.[1] Se estrenó en el Festival de Cine de Sundance 2008.[2]

La película recibió críticas mixtas. En junio de 2020, tenía un 48% de aprobación en el sitio web de reseñas Rotten Tomatoes, basado en 124 reseñas con una calificación promedio de 5,62 sobre 10. El consenso de los críticos del sitio web dice: «Bottle Shock no logra aprovechar adecuadamente la inspiradora historia real que la rodea, conformándose con un relato ordinario y pesado».[3]
