Biografía
Katheryn Burke Lackey (nombre real de la actriz)[1] nació en Filadelfia en 1863. Inició su carrera teatral a los 16 años en una opereta cómica.[2] Posteriormente, permaneció durante siete años en la compañía Weber & Fields Stock Company[2][3] en Nueva York. También trabajó con las compañías de Charles Dillingham y la Boston Opera Company.
Comenzó su carrera cinematográfica en 1912 con The Hospital Baby, de la Essanay Film Manufacturing Company.[2] Posteriormente, fue contratada por la Metro y, más tarde, por la Famous Players-Lasky. Su última película fue Stranded in Paris (1926). Se retiró tras haber participado en más de 150 películas[4][5] y falleció en Los Ángeles a los 69 años, a causa de una afección cardíaca derivada de la artritis.[1]
