Lorne Balfe (n. Inverness; 23 de febrero de 1976) es un compositor y productor musical británico. Es conocido por haber puesto música a películas, series o videojuegos tales como Misión Imposible: Fallout, Top Gun: Maverick, Viuda negra, Ad Astra, The Crown, La materia oscura, Genius: Picasso, Genius: Einstein, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed III y Revelations.

Ha colaborado durante años con su mentor Hans Zimmer en Remote Control Productions. En sus inicios, compuso bajo el seudónimo de Oswin Mackintosh.
Biografía
Balfe nació en Inverness, Escocia.[1] Asistió al Fettes College de Edimburgo, donde obtuvo una beca de música. [2]
Un veterano de Remote Control Productions de Hans Zimmer, los créditos de Balfe incluyen las películas Megamind, Penguins of Madagascar, Home, Terminator Genisys, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, The Lego Batman Movie, Mission: Impossible - Fallout y su secuela Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, Bad Boys for Life y su secuela Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Black Widow, Black Adam, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Gran Turismo y Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F , así como los videojuegos Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Assassin's Creed III, Crysis 2, Skylanders y Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Balfe también participa en The Game Awards como director de la Orquesta de los Game Awards y compositor y arreglista de varias actuaciones musicales que se presentan en el evento.
