Martin Louis Paich (23 de enero de 1925 - 12 de agosto de 1995) fue un pianista, compositor, arreglista, productor discográfico, director musical y director de orquesta de jazz estadounidense. Como músico y arreglista, trabajó con artistas como Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Kenton, Al Hirt, Art Pepper, Buddy Rich, Ray Brown, Shorty Rogers, Pete Rugolo, Ray Charles y Mel Tormé. Su larga asociación con Tormé incluyó uno de los primeros álbumes del cantante, Mel Tormé with the Marty Paich Dek-Tette. Carrera
Originario de Oakland, California, Paich aprendió a tocar el acordeón y el piano muy joven. [1] A partir de 1935, cuando tenía diez años, dirigía bandas y actuaba en bodas.
