Paul Whaley

Paul Gene Whaley (14 de enero de 1947 – 28 de enero de 2019)[1] fue un batería estadounidense, conocido por ser miembro de la banda de rock Blue Cheer. Hijo de un cantante de country Paul Edward Whaley, creció en las ciudades de Vallejo y Winters, California. Tocaba la batería en una banda de Davis, California llamada The Oxford Circle. Whaley está acreditado en el álbum de Oxford Circle llamado Live at the Avalon 1966. Cuando dejó la formación se unió a Blue Cheer en 1967, la banda se disolvió.[2] Fue el miembro más antiguo de Blue Cheer tras la muerte de Peterson a los 63 años. Whaley murió de insuficiencia cardíaca el 28 de enero de 2019, dos semanas después de su 72 cumpleaños.[3][4]
