Cassano

Le nom Cassano s'est popularisé en Italie durant le Moyen Âge tardif. Il s'agit d'une variante du nom Ghazan (signifiant chaudron en turc) qui était notamment porté par Mahmoud Ghazan Khan, dirigeant de l'Ilkhanat de Perse entre 1295 et 1304[1].
