Dori est un département et une commune urbaine du Burkina Faso, situé dans la province du Séno et la région du Liptako. Elle fait partie de la région du Liptako dont elle est le centre commercial le plus important et fut la capitale de l'ancien émirat du Liptako.
Démographie
Lors du dernier recensement général de la population de 2006, le département comptait 106 808 habitants[1].
Climat
Le climat est de type sahélien. La pluviométrie est d'environ 567 mm/an[1]. Les effets d'un changement climatique font peser des risques sur le bon déroulement du cycle de croissance des cultures pluviales.
