Doug Wimbish, né le 22 septembre 1956 à Hartford, est un musicien américain. Il est principalement connu pour être le bassiste du groupe Living Colour.

Biographie
De 1979 à 1984, Doug Wimbish est bassiste de studio pour les groupes de rap-funk du label Sugar Hill Records, dont Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, The Sugarhill Gang et The Sequence, pour les plus connus.
En 1992, il devient le bassiste officiel de Living Colour qui rencontre un grand succès au cours des années 1990. Par la suite, il forme avec Skip McDonald et Keith Leblanc, le groupe Little Axe qui mélange dub et blues[1].
En 2008, il sort CinemaSonics avec Keith Leblanc (batterie) et Skip McDonald (guitare)[2].
