Synopsis
Les trois membres du groupe de pop ultracélèbre « Electric Bloom » racontent l'histoire de leur groupe et leur amitié, depuis le jour de leur rencontre au lycée. La brillante Posey, la rebelle Jade et l'excentrique Tulip entament un voyage pour le plus grand groupe du monde et les meilleures amies de l'univers.

Production
Développement
Le , Disney Branded Television a commandé la série « How We Became the Biggest Band in the World ». La série est créée par les créateurs de Frankie et Paige, Eric Friedman, Alex Fox et Rachel Lewis, qui en sont également producteurs exécutifs, Eric Friedman occupant aussi le poste de showrunner. L’idée originale a été proposée par Diane Warren et Bahareh Batmang, toutes deux également productrices exécutives. Diane Warren a écrit les chansons de l’épisode pilote ainsi que de plusieurs épisodes[6]. Jody Margolin Hahn a réalisé et produit en tant qu’exécutive le pilote ainsi que plusieurs autres épisodes.
Le , il a été annoncé que la série, rebaptisée « Electric Bloom », serait lancée le . La production a déjà été surnommée « la prochaine Hannah Montana de Disney »[7].
