L'European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) est une organisation scientifique fondée en 1993. Elle regroupe 23 associations européennes dédiées aux méthodes de calcul en sciences et ingénierie. Son objectif est de promouvoir la collaboration entre les universités, les centres de recherche et l'industrie dans le domaine des méthodes numériques et des simulations informatiques en ingénierie et sciences appliquées.
L'organisation comporte un comité jeunes chercheurs Young Investigators Committee qui participe à l'organisation du congrès général biennal de l'ECCOMAS , en alternance avec les conférences thématiques, qui suivent également un cycle de deux ans (30 conférences thématiques en 2023).
ECCOMAS regroupe diverses organisations en l'Europe, formant un réseau de recherche et contribuant de manière significative à la recherche en mathématiques appliquées, en informatique et en ingénierie. L'adhésion individuelle est également possible.
