Harve Bennett

{{Television and Motion Picture Producer, Screenwriter. He will be best remembered for penning and producing the "Star Trek" film series. Born Harve Bennett Fischman, his first experience in the entertainment industry happened while he was a child on the radio program "Quiz Kid." After deciding on a career in show business, he studied Film at UCLA and moved to New York City, where he began working in television as a producer with CBS and later ABC. He collaborated with Aaron Spelling to produce the TV series "The Mod Squad" (1968 to 1973) and served as executive producer for "The Six Million Dollar Man" (1974 to 1978) and "The Bionic Woman" (1976 to 1977). Bennett joined forces with Gene Roddenberry for "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" (1982) and the following films "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock" (1983), "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" (1986) and "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" (1989). He received an Emmy Award nomination for the TV-Mini series "Rich Man, Poor Man" (1976) and shared an Emmy Award for the TV-Movie "A Woman Called Golda" (1982)}}
