Julien Christian Lutz né le 31 octobre 1975, à Brampton en Ontario et connu professionnellement sous le nom de Director X est un réalisateur canadien de clips musicaux. Formé auprès de Hype Williams, il a réalisé plus d'une centaine de clips musicaux de genres variés depuis 1998, pour des artistes tels que Jay-Z, Drake, Future, John Mayer, Kanye West, DJ Khaled, Usher, Ice Cube, Little Mix, Fabolous, Fifth Harmony, Mystikal et Akon. Il a notamment réalisé le clip Yeah! de Usher, Promiscuous de Nelly Furtado ou encore la première version du clip Work de Rihanna.
Au cinéma, il a réalisé le thriller policier Superfly en 2018, qui a reçu un accueil mitigé.
À la télévision, il a créé en 2023 la série Robyn Hood (en), remake modernisé de Robin des bois, annulée à la fin de la première saison pour cause de trop faible audience.
