Peter Sempel (né le 24 mars 1954 à Hambourg et mort dans la même ville le 20 mars 2026[1]) est un réalisateur, photographe et scénariste allemand.
Peter Sempel grandit en Australie et revient en Allemagne en 1968, où il étudie littérature et sport à l'université de Hambourg. À partir de 1981, il travaille comme cinéaste.
