Phrurotimpus est un genre d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Phrurolithidae[1].
Les espèces de ce genre se rencontrent en Amérique du Nord et en Chine[1].

Systématique et taxinomie
Ce genre a été décrit par Chamberlin et Ivie en 1935 dans les Clubionidae. Il est placé dans les Corinnidae par Bosselaers et Jocqué en 2002[3] puis dans les Phrurolithidae par Ramírez en 2014[4].
