Synopsis
Le film se déroule dans la Palestine mandataire des années 1930-1940. Il suit l'histoire d'amour tragique de Shoshana Borochov (en) (Irina Starchenbaum), fille de Dov-Ber Borochov, l'un des fondateurs du sionisme travailliste, et du policier britannique Tom Wilkin (Douglas Booth), tandis que Wilkin et son collègue Geoffrey J. Morton (en) (Harry Melling) traquent le militant sioniste Avraham Stern (Aury Alby).
