Les Spirostreptidae sont une famille de diplopodes de l'ordre des Spirostreptida. Elle comporte une centaine de genres répartis entre Amérique du Nord, Amérique du Sud, Méditerranée orientale, Afrique continentale, Madagascar et les Seychelles[1].
