Studio TF1 America est une entreprise canadienne de production et de distribution de programmes télévisés et cinématographiques, créée en . Basée à Montréal, elle est issue de la fusion de Reel One Entertainment et de Johnson Production Group (JPG). Studio TF1 America est une coentreprise entre le groupe français TF1 (via sa filiale Studio TF1) et A+E Global Media, comptant parmi l'un des plus importants producteurs et distributeurs de téléfilms en langue anglaise au monde[1].
En 2001, la société canadienne Reel One Entertainment est fondée par le producteur Tom Berry sous le nom de Première Bobine[2]. La société s'est rapidement fait connaître grâce à sa production à grande échelle et sa distribution internationale de téléfilms, notamment dans les genres romance, Noël et thriller. Ses films étaient fréquemment diffusés sur des chaînes comme Lifetime et Hallmark Channel.
En 2019, le groupe français Newen, filiale du groupe TF1, acquiert une participation majoritaire dans Reel One. En 2021, A+E Television Networks acquiert une participation minoritaire de 35 % dans la société[3].
En 2024, Newen a également fait l'acquisition de Johnson Production Group (JPG), une société de production basée à Vancouver. En , Reel One et JPG fusionnent pour former Studio TF1 America[4],[5],[6]. La nouvelle entité a pour objectif d'accroître sa production de contenus en anglais destinés aux marchés internationaux[1].
