The Body-Hat Syndrome est le troisième album studio de Digital Underground, sorti le .
Avec cet opus, le groupe continue de créer son propre style : un mélange de P-Funk et de rap.
Le premier single, The Return of the Crazy One, a surtout été remarqué par son clip, classé X puis remanié en une version adaptée au grand public. Le second single, Wussup wit the Luv, est un morceau politiquement engagé, antiraciste, sur lequel on retrouve le guitariste de Funkadelic, Michael Hampton, pour un solo, et Tupac Shakur, pour un couplet et une apparition dans le clip. C'est d'ailleurs la dernière participation de 2Pac à une production de Digital Underground.
L'album s'est classé 16e au Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums[5] et 79e au Billboard 200[6].
