The Diary of Alicia Keys est le 2e album studio d'Alicia Keys sorti en décembre 2003. La chanteuse remporte pour l'occasion le Grammy Award du Meilleur Album R&B en 2005.
Comme son premier album Songs in A Minor, The Diary... se classe n°1 au Billboard 200 et s'écoule à 618 000 copies dès la première semaine aux États-Unis[1]. L'album se vendra finalement à 4 millions d'exemplaires aux États-Unis et plus de 8 millions à travers le monde[2]. De plus, les 4 singles se classeront tous dans le Top 20 du Billboard Hot 100, 3 seront au Top 10.
L'album reçoit également de très bonnes critiques, totalisées par un 71/100 par le site web Metacritic.
