The Infamous est le deuxième album studio de Mobb Deep, sorti le 25 avril 1995. Il a été réédité en 2004 en version remastérisée avec deux titres bonus : Shook Ones Pt. I (Original Version) et Survival of the Fittest (Remix).

L'album s'est classé 3^e au Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums et 18^e au Billboard 200^[8], charts dans lesquels il est resté respectivement 34 et 18 semaines.

Il a été certifié disque d'or le 26 juin 1995 par la RIAA^[9] avec plus de 500 000 exemplaires vendus.
