ゲイリー・ギディンス

ゲイリー・ギディンス[注釈 1]（Gary Giddins、1948年 - ）は、アメリカのジャズ評論家、作家[1]。1973年から「ヴィレッジ・ヴォイス」紙に寄稿し[1]、2003年までコラム「ウェザー・バード（Weather Bird）」を執筆した[2]。1986年、ゲイリー・ギディンスとジョン・ルイスはアメリカン・ジャズ・オーケストラを結成し、トニー・ベネットなどのミュージシャンたちと共にジャズのレパートリーを用いたコンサートを開催した[2]。
ギディンスは5年間、ニューヨーク市立大学大学院センターにある伝記のためのレオン・レヴィ・センターにてエグゼクティブ・ディレクターを務めた[2]。
