トマス・ピット (第2代ロンドンデリー伯爵) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 第2代ロンドンデリー伯爵トマス・ピット（英語: Thomas Pitt, 2nd Earl of Londonderry、1718年頃 – 1735年8月25日）は、アイルランド貴族。 初代ロンドンデリー伯爵トマス・ピットとフランシス・リッジウェイ（Francis Ridgeway、1772年5月18日没、第4代ロンドンデリー伯爵ロバート・リッジウェイの娘[注釈 1]）の息子として生まれた[1]。 1729年9月12日に父が死去すると、ロンドンデリー伯爵の爵位を継承した[1]。 1735年8月25日に落馬事故により死去、ブランフォード（英語版）で埋葬された[1]。生涯未婚だったため、弟リッジウェイが爵位を継承した[1]。 注釈 ↑ 第1期（1622年創設）の第4代ロンドンデリー伯爵であり、本記事の人物である第2代ロンドンデリー伯爵トマス・ピットとその父の初代ロンドンデリー伯爵トマス・ピットはいずれも第2期（1726年創設）のロンドンデリー伯爵である。ロンドンデリー伯爵の記事も参照。 出典 1 2 3 4 Cokayne, George Edward, ed.
