Ebaliinae
Unterfamilie der Familie Leucosiidae

Die Ebaliinae sind eine Unterfamilie der Krabben innerhalb der Kugelkrabben (Leucosiidae). Erkennungsmerkmale sind, dass die Seitenränder des Carapax nicht überhängen oder dass sie zwar überhängend, aber stumpf sind. Sie sind oft mit Höckern versehen oder behaart und bilden nur selten eine durchgehende Leiste, welche über die Kiemenkammer- oder Hinterränder ragt. Die Rückenfläche ist oft granuliert oder punktiert und plastisch gestaltet. Die medianen und schrägen Epibranchialleisten sind, wenn vorhanden, deutlich. Ein thorakaler Sinus wie bei den Leucosiinae ist nicht ausgebildet.[1]
