Wahlkreis Mid Dunbartonshire

Mid Dunbartonshire ist ein Wahlkreis (englisch constituency) im Zentrum Schottlands, der einen Abgeordneten ins britische Unterhaus (House of Commons) entsendet. Er besteht seit 2024 und liegt in der Council Area East Dunbartonshire. Bedeutende Orte im Wahlkreis sind Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Lennoxtown, Lenzie und Milngavie.

Geschichte
Die Boundary Commission for Scotland schuf den Wahlkreis im Hinblick auf die Unterhauswahl 2024. Er entstand aus dem aufgelösten Wahlkreis East Dunbartonshire sowie Teilen des weiterhin bestehenden Wahlkreises Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East (umbenannt in Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch).
Der Wahlkreis umfasst folgende Gebiete:
- seit 2024: in der East Dunbartonshire Council Area die Wards Bearsden North, Bearsden South, Bishopbriggs North & Campsie, Bishopbriggs South, Kirkintilloch East and North & Twechar (teilweise), Lenzie & Kirkintilloch South und Milngavie[2]
