The 1971 Blue Swords Cup (Pokal der Blauen Schwerter) was a senior international figure skating championship held in Karl-Marx-Stadt, East Germany. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles and pair skating.

In the women's singles competition, 14-year-old Christine Errath of East Berlin had a decisive victory in first place on 20 November 1971.[1] Anita Johansson of Sweden finished second, while Marina Titova of the Soviet Union placed third.[1]
