The 1976 Cambridge City Council election took place on 6 May 1976 to elect members of Cambridge City Council in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.[1] This was on the same day as other local elections across England.

The whole council was up for election on new ward boundaries, with fourteen 3-seat wards being contested at this election. Labour lost control of the council to the Conservatives.
