2001 Stock Car Brasil season

The 2001 Stock Car Brasil season was the 23rd edition of the Stock Car Brasil Championship. The season began at the Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba on April 7 and concluded at the Interlagos Circuit on November 18.

The championship would be won by Chico Serra for the third consecutive time. The season was marred by the death of competitor Laércio Justino after a crash at the pit lane entrance of the Autódromo Internacional de Brasília.[1]
