During the regular season the Jets were on an eight-game win streak, setting a franchise record for most consecutive wins.[2]

On April 4, 2024, the Jets clinched their second consecutive playoff berth, and their sixth in the past seven seasons, following a 5–2 win over the Calgary Flames.[3] They faced the Colorado Avalanche in the first round,[4] and repeated their same fate from the previous season, losing in five games after going up 1-0.[5]
