2026 Republika Srpska general election

General elections were held in Republika Srpska on 4 October 2026 as part of the Bosnian general elections.[1] Voters will decide the President of Republika Srpska and the 83 members of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

Incumbent president Siniša Karan of the SNSD, though eligible, will not run for the second term.
Opinion polling
National Assembly
Opinion polling for the 2026 National Assembly election has been limited. A Geostrategy poll conducted from 31 August to 4 September 2026 among 850 respondents found the SNSD to be the largest party on 28.3%, followed by the PSS on 23.7% and the SDS on 18.5%. Za pravdu i red was on 9.5%, while SP-Demos was on 5.0%, the SPS and United Srpska each on 4.0%, and DNS-NPS on 2.0%. Bosniak parties collectively received 5.0%.[2]
