The Knicks will enter the draft holding one first-round selection and two second-round selections.[1][2] They retained their two original selections, while the additional second-round pick originally owned by the Washington Wizards, which the Knicks acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2022, was received instead of a first-round selection, which failed to convey due to Washington's consecutive playoff misses and low regular-season finishes from 2022 to 2026 that made the pick land within its lottery protections.[3]
