The AGGÖZ Gimbal 275 is a Turkish camera system developed by Asisguard, a defense company. It is used for spotting, tracking, and targeting on air, land, and sea vehicles. The system, was implemented into service by the Turkish security forces in 2024, works both day and night and has advanced tracking features. It helps Turkey reduce its reliance on foreign defense technology.
The AGGÖZ Gimbal 275 is a development of Turkish defense company, Asisguard, that specializes in electro optical and gimbal technologies.[1] The system is part of Turkey's strategy of reducing reliance on foreign defense equipment. the system was highly successful in numerous trails before entering the Turkish armed forces. The name AGGOZ means "national eye", highlighting its symbolic role in national defense.[1][2]
