Abrar Athar is a Bangladeshi filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter. He is known for Life in Other Words (2017), Koli 2.0 (2018), Mainkar Chipay (2020), and Ei Muhurte (2022).[1][2] He also makes web series and TV commercials.[3][4][5]
Abrar Athar was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his primary education at Sunbeams School in Dhaka and Assam Valley School in India.[6] He graduated from North South University with a degree in Business Administration. He started his career as a copywriter and director at Grey Advertising Dhaka, where he worked on several campaigns for local and international brands.[7] He has also worked in the marketing department for Interspeed and Radio Foorti.[6]
