Actinoallomurus is a genus in the phylum Actinomycetota (Bacteria).[1]
The name Actinoallomurus derives from:
Greek noun actis actinos, ray, used to refer to actinomycetes; Greek adjective allos, different; Latin masculine gender noun murus, wall; Neo-Latin masculine gender noun Actinoallomurus, actinomycetes with a different wall.[1]
Phylogeny
The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[1] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).[3]
