Almaran (Persian: ال مران)[a] is a village in Savan Rural District[3] of the Central District[b] in Mirabad County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 107 in 16 households, when it was in Gavork-e Nalin Rural District of Vazineh District[c] in Sardasht County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 84 people in 16 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 76 people in 15 households.[1]
In 2022, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Mirabad County and renamed the Central District. Almaran was transferred to Savan Rural District created in the same district.[3]
