Altınordu is municipality and district of Ordu Province, Turkey.[2] Its area is 410 km2,[3] and its population is 235,096 (2022).[1] It covers the agglomeration of Ordu and the adjacent countryside. The current acting mayor is Ulaş Tepe (CHP).[4]
The district Altınordu was created at the 2013 reorganisation from the former central district of Ordu Province.[5][6][7] Its name means Golden Horde, a historical empire.
