Astara County

Astara County (Persian: شهرستان آستارا) is in Gilan province, in northwestern Iran. Its capital is the city of Astara.[4]

Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 79,416 in 20,725 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 86,757 people in 25,176 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 91,257 in 28,742 households.[3]
