Gomez signed with Kemosabe Records in a joint venture with RCA Records, and also affiliated with Sony Music Latin for her Spanish-language releases. Throughout her career, she has consistently released music under this Kemosabe/RCA/Sony Latin partnership. She released her debut extended play titled Play It Again (2013). The single from the EP "Can't Get Enough", reached the top ten on the Latin Airplay.[6] She released the single "Shower", which peaked at number sixteen in the US.[4] In June 2016, Gomez released her first full Spanish-language single "Sola", as her debut into the Latin music market.[7] It reached the top twenty on the Hot Latin Songs.[5] Gomez has also released various collaborative singles.[8]
Gomez's debut studio album, Mala Santa (2019), debuted in the top five on the Top Latin Albums and Latin Rhythm Albums, and debuted at number eighty-five on the US Billboard 200 charts.[9] It spawned two top five singles on the Hot Latin Songs —"Mayores" and "Sin Pijama".[5] Her second studio album, Esquemas (2022), debuted atop the Latin Pop Albums, and the top five on the Top Latin Albums charts, and debuted at number ninety-two in the US.[10] She achieved her highest-charting single "Mamiii" on the Hot 100,[4] and topped the Latin charts.[11][5] Her third studio album, Esquinas (2023), debuted in the top ten on the Top Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts, and debuted at number 109 in the US.[12] The album fourth single "Por el Contrario" topped the charts on the Latin Airplay and Regional Mexican Airplay.[6][13] Her fourth studio album, Encuentros (2024), debuted at number fifteen on the Top Latin Albums, and charted top ten on the Regional Mexican Albums charts.[14] Gomez's fifth studio album, Baraja Bendita, is set for release in August 2026.[15]
