"Beloved Stranger" is a 1955 American television play, which aired as an episode of the Goodyear Playhouse.[1]
The Independent thought the plot was clearly inspired by A Letter to Three Wives but felt "the story was suspenseful and the acting and directing was superior almost anything seen in recent weeks."[2]
A ships' captain, Joe Saxon, has left his belongings to a "beloved stranger" who could be one of three women: his ex-wife Bambi, actor Magda or English girl Laura.
