Branče Stojanović

Branče Stojanović (Serbian Cyrillic: Бранче Стојановић; born 4 October 1957) is a Serbian politician. He served in the National Assembly of Serbia from 2004 to 2007, was the president of the Smederevo city assembly from 2010 to 2016, and has been the deputy president of the city assembly since 2016. Stojanović is a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia (Socijalistička partija Srbije, SPS).

Stojanović was born in the village of Kolari, in the Smederevo municipality of what was then the People's Republic of Serbia, Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. He was raised in the community and later graduated from the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Science and Mathematics. He worked at the Institute of Agriculture in Smederevo, becoming head of the laboratory service. He was later the manager of the wine cellar Godomin in his home village from 1993 to 1996 and again beginning in 2002.[1]
