BravesVision

Regional sports network operated by the Atlanta Braves From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BravesVision is a part-time regional sports network owned by Atlanta Braves Holdings, parent company of the Atlanta Braves.

Beginning in the 2026 season, BravesVision will produce and broadcast the Braves' regional games, succeeding FanDuel Sports Network South. Similarly to MLB Local Media, its game broadcasts will be distributed via ad-hoc arrangements with television providers within the Braves' regional footprint, while MLB.tv will host a direct to consumer (DTC) streaming package under the Braves.tv banner. BravesVision will also syndicate a package of games throughout the season to a network of Gray Media broadcast television stations.

History

In January 2026, Main Street Sports Group's nine remaining regional contracts with MLB teams were terminated due to missed payments, amid financial issues and failed offers to sell the company to DAZN. This impacted the Atlanta Braves, whose regional broadcasts were carried by FanDuel Sports Network South.[1][2][3] Pending further developments, it was projected that FanDuel Sports Network may cease operations entirely following the conclusion of the NBA and NHL seasons.[4]

While seven of the impacted teams were expected to move their regional rights to MLB Local Media, the Atlanta Braves were reported to be considering in-house options, including the possibility of establishing their own team-owned regional sports network to replace FanDuel Sports Network.[4][5] In the meantime, the Braves renewed their contract with Gray Media, which would produce a package of 15 spring training games to air on broadcast television.[6]

On February 23, 2026, Sports Business Journal reported that the Braves had considered using a "direct-to-distributor" model similar to MLB Local Media for the 2026 season, and partnering with other regional teams such as the Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Nashville Predators to launch a multi-team RSN in the future.[7] The next day, the Braves officially announced BravesVision; the unit will produce regional broadcasts for Braves games, which will be distributed via partnerships with television providers, as well as in-market direct-to-consumer streaming via the Braves.tv package on MLB.tv. BravesVision will also distribute a package of Braves games on broadcast television as part of the team's contract with Gray Media.[8][9]
