The caramelo dog (Portuguese: [kaɾaˈmɛlu] )[a] or vira-lata caramelo ("caramel mutt") is a mixed-breed dog originating in Brazil, known for its caramel-colored coat. It is informally considered a national symbol of Brazil.[1]
