Chenar (Persian: چنار)[a] is a village in Dizajrud-e Sharqi Rural District[4] of Qaleh Chay District in Ajab Shir County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,173 in 279 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,118 people in 272 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,277 people in 370 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
