Chenar-e Olya (Persian: چنار عليا)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Chaharduli Rural District[2] in the Central District of Asadabad County, Hamadan province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,183 in 528 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,415 people in 640 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,020 people in 602 households, the most populous in its rural district.[1]
