The commune includes two villages:

• Chirnogeni (historical name: Ghiuvenlia, Turkish: Güvenli), named after Chirnogi, whence many settlers came^[3]
• Credința (historical name: Sofular, Turkish: Sofular)
• Plopeni (historical name: Cavaclar, Turkish: Kavaklar)
