Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions

The Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions (CFTU; Chinese: 重庆市总工会) is the principal labor organization in Chongqing, China, operating under the dual leadership of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) and the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Established in November 1926, it was reorganized in 1951, dissolved during the Cultural Revolution (1969), and reinstated in 1973. [1]
