Chrisland University is located in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. It was founded in 2015 and is accredited by the National Universities Commission.^[1]^[2]^[3]

On September 17, 2015, the Federal Republic of Nigeria's National Universities Commission granted the institution a full operational license to function as a private institution in Nigeria beginning in 2019.^[4]

Prof. Mrs. Chinedum Peace Babalola was appointed as the first Vice-Chancellor of the institution in November 2017.^[5]

On 1 November 2024, the Governing Council of Chrisland University appointed Prof. Oyedunni Arulogun as the second substantive Vice-Chancellor. She became the second female Vice Chancellor of the university.^[6]^[7]

Chrisland University is a private university located in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. It was founded in 2015 and is accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The governance structure includes a Chancellor, Governing Council, and principal officers responsible for overall academic and administrative direction.^[8]^[9]

Convocation

Chrisland University holds convocation ceremonies to confer degrees on graduating students and celebrate academic achievements.

2021	3rd	Graduates included five First Class honors; continued academic expansion.^[16]
2024	6th	185 graduands celebrated with 25 First Class graduates and best behaved student awards.^[17]
2025	7th	University produced 44 First Class graduates and pioneer physiotherapy graduates; NUC approved postgraduate programmes.^[18]
