Pan American Games appearances (overview)

Costa Rica is scheduled to compete at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023. This was Costa Rica's 18th appearance at the Pan American Games, having competed at every Games except 1963.

Racquetball athlete Andrés Acuña and taekwondo athlete Nishy Lee Lindo were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[1] Meanwhile, track athlete Andrea Vargas was the country's flagbearer during the closing ceremony.
